man postpartale Thyreoditis (PPT).<sup>1<\/sup>\u00a0Es gibt einige Symptome f\u00fcr eine Schilddr\u00fcsenunter- wie auch -\u00fcberfunktion, auf die M\u00fctter nach der Geburt achten sollten.<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9957 size-full\" Schilddr\u00fcsenunterfunktion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ungef\u00e4hr 25 bis 45 % der Frauen, die eine Schilddr\u00fcsenunterfunktions-Phase durch PPT entwickeln, weisen Symptome einer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thyroidaware.com\/at\/about-hypothyroidism\/\">Schilddr\u00fcsenunterfunktion<\/a>\u00a0auf.<sup>1<\/sup>\u00a0Dazu geh\u00f6ren M\u00fcdigkeit, Konzentrationsverlust, schlechtes Erinnerungsverm\u00f6gen, Verstopfung und m\u00f6glicherweise Depression.<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PPT und Symptome einer Schilddr\u00fcsen\u00fcberfunktion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zwischen 20 und 30 % der Frauen mit PPT leiden an Symptomen einer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thyroidaware.com\/at\/about-hypothyroidism\/\">Schilddr\u00fcsen\u00fcberfunktion<\/a>.<sup>1<\/sup>\u00a0Dazu geh\u00f6ren M\u00fcdigkeit, Herzklopfen, Gewichtsverlust, Hitzeempfindlichkeit, Nervosit\u00e4t, Angst und Gereiztheit.<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Schilddr\u00fcsen\u00fcberfunktion bei PPT tritt in der Regel zwischen dem dritten und achten Monat nach der Geburt auf (am h\u00e4ufigsten nach etwa sechs Monaten) und h\u00e4lt gew\u00f6hnlich f\u00fcr vier bis sechs Monate an.<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wie wird eine PPT behandelt?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bei der PPT handelt es sich in der Regel um eine vor\u00fcbergehende St\u00f6rung und nicht in allen F\u00e4llen ist eine Behandlung notwendig.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>M\u00fctter kurz nach der Geburt ohne Symptome einer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thyroidaware.com\/at\/about-hypothyroidism\/\">Unterfunktion<\/a>, aber mit TSH-Wert-Ver\u00e4nderungen (nicht mehr als 10miU\/L) und keinem weiteren Kinderwunsch, m\u00fcssen nicht unbedingt behandelt werden.<sup>1<\/sup>\u00a0Es wird jedoch eine Kontrolluntersuchung der Schilddr\u00fcsenfunktion 4 bis 8 Wochen nach Diagnosestellung empfohlen.<sup>1<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Frauen mit Symptomen einer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thyroidaware.com\/at\/about-hypothyroidism\/\">Schilddr\u00fcsenunterfunktion\u00a0<\/a>oder Frauen, die eine weitere Schwangerschaft planen, sollten mit einer geeigneten Therapie behandelt werden.<sup>1<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Treten bei einer Frau nach der Geburt Symptome einer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thyroidaware.com\/at\/about-hypothyroidism\/\">Schilddr\u00fcsen\u00fcberfunktion\u00a0<\/a>auf, sollte sie ihren Arzt aufsuchen, der \u00fcber eine weitere Behandlung entscheidet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nachsorge von Frauen mit PPT<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Auch wenn die Diagnose einer Schilddr\u00fcsenerkrankung erschreckend sein kann, handelt es sich bei der PPT in der Regel nicht um eine langfristige St\u00f6rung.
